  The Word of God is taught here straight from the Bible, unadulterated and untainted. Pastor Roger Canary, Assistant Pastor Gabriel Rodriguez, and Youth Pastor Anthony Mendoza do not give sermons "sprinkled" with Jesus. The leadership is all on the same page and Pastor Roger oversees everything with a watchful eye to ensure that the sheep are protected. There are a lot of very seasoned Christians at this church so you have the love that comes from people walking a long time with Christ and going through various trials, etc. This is a loving, forgiving church where the truth is preached but grace and mercy are also given. There are generational Christians here (families of Christians, carried down) which is always a good indication that the Holy Spirit is alive and moving when even the children are following God. Great teaching, wonderful child care, awesome youth group, awesome young adult group, awesome home groups (and many of them all over town), etc. Praise night on the 1st Sunday of the month so you get your time in the pulpit to share whatever is on your heart, a song, a poem, a play or skit, or whatever. People need to share, and this pastor realizes that. Awesome worship and worship team! The pastors know how to counsel and are experienced, seasoned men of God. There is a men's meeting, a women's meeting, a prayer team, a follow-up team and about any area you think you may want to be involved in or come to. Really, as far as churches go, you can't really ask for more. No church is perfect; there is no such thing as perfect people, but, for me, this is about as far as it comes to perfect this side of heaven. I'm staying, forever, or until the Lord moves me to a different state etc. This is my home and no offense or anything can get me out of it because the Spirit of God is in this house / church! There is pre-service prayer, prayer on Tuesday afternoon's, a food ministry for those who can't afford food, a van that picks you up on Sundays if you need a ride, and takes you home and it even has a bike wrack on it. I don't think there is much this Pastor has missed in trying to help people, but in the process, he has not compromised the Word of God in any way or done any kind of seeker friendly thing. We have alters at our church still. We still do alter calls. This is a "Jesus" only church and does not have the typical "Jesus plus or Jesus minus" doctrines being taught today which corrupt the Word of God and the people following them. Where are your alters churches? This church still has them and it is a praying church so lives change because God changes lives, so praying to God means more lives changed. Beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garland of praise for the spirit of heaviness. That's this church, and what God has done at this church and continues to do. I highly recommend it. It will change your life forever; what you hear at this church, learn at this church, the peoples of this church, etc. Thank you Jesus for your beautiful church! Amen.
